Fiesta CFC
Collectible Posters + T-shirt Design
Brand implementation, illustration, poster designs, and T-shirt design
Work Includes
Partnering with the Chattanooga Football Club for their Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Fiesta CFC, I designed a series of six collectible posters and two variations of a T-shirt design. The collectible posters were distributed to guests at the soccer match, while the T-shirts were sold both in-store and online, adding a commemorative touch to the event.
Overview
The Chattanooga Football Club is a professional soccer team rooted in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At its core, CFC is dedicated to fostering community through the global sport of soccer. Their mission centers on leveraging soccer as a unifying force to cultivate robust connections—regardless of age, race, or socioeconomic status—for the collective betterment of the city.

Process
In creating the Fiesta CFC materials, I focused on celebrating Hispanic and Latinx culture by highlighting six prominent cultures represented within the Chattanooga Football Club team and the greater Chattanooga community. The designs drew inspiration from lotería, a traditional game similar to bingo often played among families. For the posters, I created a set of CFC-themed lotería cards for each of the six countries: Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Guatemala, Colombia, and Spain. Each card featured an individual at the center, surrounded by illustrated elements specific to that country’s culture. I incorporated all six cards for the T-shirt designs, alongside one of CFC’s taglines, Somos CFC, and a logo variation. The designs were further enriched with a motif inspired by the iconic Don Clemente Gallo rendition of lotería packaging, tying the visual elements to the rich cultural tradition.
